Proofreading & Editing
As a copywriter, I know editing is tough.
When you’ve been working on a piece of writing for ages, you often become afflicted by what I call ‘word blindness’. This is when words stop making sense to you, and you start questioning whether words like ‘the’ and ‘but’ even exist.
When you can no longer ‘see the wood for the trees’, or in this case, the page for the words, a fresh pair of eyes can make all the difference.
And as well as my eyes being exceedingly fresh, I also get that giving your writing to someone else to critique is like asking someone to judge how ugly your kid is on a scale of one to ten.
So, don’t worry, I’ll be gentle.
